We’re in the middle of harvesting our gardens\, the fields are winding down\, and the farm is moving into a different rhythm entirely. But the hill is extraordinary right now — the kind of view that stops you mid-step and makes you forget what you were doing. \n \nOne or two sunflowers. An entire valley in colour.\nThe last real warmth of summer before fall settles in for good.\nThe late bloomers open when they’re ready — not on a schedule\, not to a crowd. Just quietly\, in the last warm light of the season\, on a hill overlooking a river that’s been here longer than any of us.
