Every Thursday throughout the sunflower season, the farm opens its gates to artists of all kinds. Set up your easel anywhere you like β€” in the sunflower maze, along the river trail, at the edge of the wildflower field, or on the hill overlooking the tidal valley. The light changes every week. The view never gets old.

The sunflower field sits in a natural little amphitheatre. The light moves through it in ways that feel like they were made to be painted.

Whether you’re an experienced artist who paints en plein air regularly, or someone who just wants to sit outside with a sketchbook and try something new β€” there’s always something waiting to be captured. The bees don’t mind. The sunflowers don’t judge. The river just keeps doing its thing in the background.
